A little bit of history

At the turn of the last century, rattan was in its golden age, as it was so easy to use that it lent itself to the scrolls, arabesques and intertwined shapes that were the hallmark of the Art Nouveau style. The charm of the afternoons under an arbour, walks in the botanical garden and cafés on the main boulevards is now part of our French way of life. KOK MAISON, with its Bagatelle collection, is now re-releasing the furniture that goes with it. Each model in this collection has its own design and its own lines, as if it had been individually aged, but the choice of a common finish ensures is coordinated with the others. A quick nod to the techniques of the time: the finishing nailing is entirely in brass.

Overall dimensions (backrest in an upright position): height 105 cm x width 75 cm x depth 72 cm, seat height 40 cm,  seat width 51cm, seat depth 58cm, Foorest : height 41cm x width 42cm x depth 63cm. Four backrest positions: 110°, 130°, 150°, 170° (almost lying down flat) from the horizontal. Weight : 25 kg.

Natural dark unpeeled rattan frame, patinated rattan weaving and HDPE resin (red sections), solid wood seat frame with webbing. Satin water-based varnish. Made in Indonesia.Optional matching cushion. Customer fabric available for this product. Contact us for more information.
