The wicker bench is a clever product that is comfortable to sit on and offers a lot of storage space under the seat. We have equipped it with double-sided glides (one hard side for soft floors, one felt side for smooth floors) which can be replaced when worn. A matching cushion is available as an option. Thanks to its practicality, the chest bench will find its place in an entrance hall (shoe storage), a living room or a bedroom (blanket storage) or a child's room (toy chest). Note its reduced depth (only 56 cm) so as not to obstruct rooms (entrances, cloakrooms in particular).

Rattan is a tropical plant (85% comes from Indonesia) related to the palm family which produces a "cane" that is easy to bend (with steam). Rattan allows for tighter curves and finer weaves than willow, but being less rigid, it requires a heavier frame.
Willow grows easily throughout Europe. It does not require any plant protection products or fertilisers. The harvest is completely regenerated each year, so it is a very easily renewable resource. Peeled hot ("buff" or "brown" willow with natural copper tones) or cold (white willow), it is most often presented untreated, the willow fibre leaving its smooth and satiny surface "au naturel".
Overall dimensions: height 103 x width 118 x depth 56 cm, seat at 47 cm (without cushion), armrests at 71 cm. Weight 11.5 kg (without cushion). Structure in pine and hazelnut, inner box in raw particleboard, nets, arches, braids and ligatures: natural "white" willow (beige tone). Made in Spain. Also available in "brown" willow. A suitable cushion is available as an option.
A wicker chair can be used in a veranda, in a winter garden, or outside in good weather and occasionally, but cannot be considered as garden furniture. It is not made to withstand the elements, humidity, frost, or too long exposure to the sun. The white wicker bench is also hand-woven. Dimensional differences of 1 to 2 cm may occur, no two are exactly alike.
Maintenance: dust with a damp cloth, do not use commercial cleaning products. In case of heavy soiling, clean with a sponge and soap.
